Man and the bull share a thought-provoking relationship.
Since time immemorial, this relationship has been ambiguous. Although Man has dominated the animal, carving out a sedentary type of organisation based around agricultural and livestock farming, he nevertheless continues to fear it. Man has made the bull a symbol of strength and power. This has been depicted on numerous occasions throughout human history.
In confrontations between Man and Bull in certain cultures, human beings have never ceased to master this still-untamed force of nature.
It is this intriguing power, which man seeks to take ownership of, that is brought to the forefront in this series of sculptures.

L’Homme a fait du Taureau un symbole de force et de puissance. Cela se traduit dans de nombreuses représentations, tout au long de l’histoire de l’humanité.
Par les confrontations entre l’Homme et le Taureau dans certaines cultures, l’être humain n’a jamais cessé de dompter cette force de la nature, sauvage malgré tout.

The map is an essential tool that has allowed Man to better understand the world and the environment, and to mark his place in it.
What is more, being unable to change his natural geographical boundaries, Man has developed other means, techniques and technologies of mobility and communication to rid himself of these barriers.
The notions of distance and proximity, over the centuries, have literally been transformed. In the end, space and time themselves are altered.
